Question About Moving TV Shows to Video Folder
I have a TV series I want to archive and move over to my video folder with other TV shows (mainly DVD rips) to free up space on my SageTV recording drive. I need to start making space for the 552 episodes of the Simpsons that will be airing soon.
If I move over this TV show, which is still airing episodes, will SageTV still consider those episodes as recorded regardless of watch status? I don't want to move the files and then discover that SageTV re-recorded all the episodes I had moved.

If I use BMT to mark the recordings as imports so they show up in the imports folder will SageTV still re-record the shows?

So just to verify, if I leave them as they are now; imported videos which show up under Recordings as archived (and have a favorite icon) they won't re-record if they are unwatched. However if I move them into the videos folders and make them true imports then Sage will re-record unless they are marked as watched. Probably just easier to leave them where they are now. I know this is a little off topic but is there a way to group recordings by season? That is the reason why I wanted the TV show moved to the import folder because I can group via season just by manually organizing the video files into a Season 1, Season 2, etc. folder.
