Moving away from a rec. folder

Hi Folks,

I wonder, how do I tell Sage to no longer use a drive/folder for recording, but not loos any recordings that are already there?

Currently Sage is recording to 2 different folders on 2 different drives.
I want to use one of the drives for something else, so how can I let Sage know to no longer record to a folder, but without losing access to the recordings that are already there?

You would need to remove that directory from SageTV in the Detailed Setup and move the recordings to the other folder.

But will the database be updated when I do that?

I mean, will Sage be able to find the files that relate to recordings I see in my collection?

If you are not in a hurry to get the recordings off the old folder, you can remove the folder from the recording directories, and all new recordings will go to the new folder, and the old ones will still be there as usual until they are deleted.

Thanks,
Jeff
