PVR150 + Diret TV REC
A few months ago I tried gettting the IR blaster that comes with my PVR 150 to work with my direct TV reciever, with no luck. I did download the trial version of sage TV and loved it. But really to make it worth it I need to be able to change channels with the software. Have any of you had any luck with this?
Thanks guys! |

Are you trying to use the IR cable that came with the 150? As I thought that was only a receiver, and not a transmitter. At least, mine was, but then again I bought it over a year ago, so I don't know if the newer ones are different. I just bought one of these and had Sage use that as the IR transmitter. |

Hey, I use directv receiver with the hauppauge PVR-150 IR blaster. Works great. What exactly isn't working? I believe you first have to configure the hauppauge Blaster software for your specific type of receiver. Then, when you are setting up the video source in sage there is an option to set that tells sage to use the PVR-150's blaster. That should get it working.
