Is there a way to from an executable from an extender

I have an imported video folder that I place unwatched videos in temporarily. I then created a program that places all "watched" videos in that folder into their permanent archive folder. Right now I have it running as a scheduled task inside of windows but would like to be able to execute it from an extender instead.
The reason being that my wife sometimes falls asleep watching something and gets upset when it is not in the temp folder the next day.
My WAF would go up if I could allow her to control when to permanently archive the videos...

Just mark the video as archived in Sage then scan your videos looking for those marked archived and then move them overnight. That's what I do (well, did, I retired my NAS a little while ago).

How would I mark an "IMPORTED VIDEO" as archived?

Ah... I missed that key fact. I was thinking tv recordings.

However, there are still ways to automate it. I'm thinking out loud with untested ideas, but if I had to do this, I'd basically do something like this (there are some assumptions, and I'll list them as I go):

I'm assuming you're always putting these videos in a known list of folders and these folders are different than the ones they should be archived to after they're watched.

So with that, videos in the known location(s) are marked watched when they're ready to be archived to the final location. Scan the these "temp" folders nightly and move anything marked as watched. Assumption: Imported videos can be marked watched.

Should be that easy, assuming all my assumptions hold. And if they do, this is how I'd do it.

Wow, now I see the watched status is the problem. Ok, just ignore me as I go back to my summer vacation!

If you make a SJQ Task to handle the move of the individual video, then when you go to the options, Assign SJQ Task when you are ready for it to move.

Or does that option only show on the Recordings Option ??

I used ADM to execute the task and created a menu item with it so that my wife can execute it when she wants.
