Edit media change details?

I have started editing videos to remove commercials and cut extra space from the beginning and end of the shows. Sage does not recognize these changes and tries to start playback a minute into the show if I recorded a minute early and also does not recognize the new run time (sans commercials, etc.). I can edit these with the web interface, but that interface it more cumbersome trying to find the files and also renames the shows removing the season/episode from the title (a huge inconvenience for me).

SO, is it possible to add the ability to change the media timing information from your interface? Start time (so that I can set it to 0 after I remove the padding) and actual media run time (when I change your run time it appears to only change the show information, not sage's playback of the media file).
