HRHR no longer tunes channels

My HDHR Prime has been working flawlessly for a long time. Recently the cable company changed the mappings on the HD channels and now the Prime won't tune in some of the channels. I stopped Sage, re-ran the SiliconDust setup and can successfully tune and view all the HD channels. When I restart Sage two of the network stations tune and two don't. I've tried removing the source and re-adding it but it still doesn't work.

I don't like watching Football in standard def

What can I try?

I've got a similar issue, also discovered when the cable company changed the lineups, except I'm using ClearQAM on an HDHR and a Hauppauge 2250.

Disabling the sagetv service and instead running the sagetv program on the server makes the channels tunable. It seems to come and ago, haven't figured out what's really happening yet.

Did the setup "save" the file it generates (forget the name) in the correct location? Check the date stamp!

In the Silicondust setup - the 'main application' is set to SageTV and all of the tuners are configured for 'Cablecard'?

I would debug by;
1. openn the web page for the box and click on the 'Tuner X' tab to see tuner # X status
2. Go to SageTV and preview the channel under video setup -> channel guide
3. Refresh the tuner status on the web page... did the channel change? is the SNR ok? ....

If I recall correctly there is an option on the prime configuration web page (http://ip-of-your-prime) that will clear all of its channel setting information and reset anew...

I would recommend that...

looks like the web page has "channel lineup -> detect channels"

Quote:
Open status menu > Channel Lineup > click on Subscribed Channels and then on Detect Channels
if I recall correctly this is different from the normal 'scan' under the config UI.

try to run that...

I'd reboot the Prime after using this command:

Quote:
"C:\Program Files\Silicondust\HDHomeRun\hdhomerun_config.exe" {substitute your prime id here} set /sys/restart self

I will try out these suggestions as part of my weekend homework. Bought a new 60" LCD to play with as well
