Tunes in random channels

This occurs in both the sage epg and xmltv.
All of the channels are at the wrong places.
Some stations even have 4 or 5 channels with varying levels of quality.
This is with basic cable. My IR blaster is coming in monday.

Specs:
-Intel P4 1.8Ghz
-Asus P4P800mx
-512mb of Corsair XMS(pc3200)
-Hauppauge PVR500-MCE
-ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
-Liteon Dual Layer DVDRW
-WD Caviar 120gb IDE HDD
-Antec Aria case
-Cablevision analog and digital cable. (zip: 08879)
-Sage TV 2.2 (Trial)
-Windows XP Pro SP2
-All of the ltest drivers.
