Anyone using the 6 tuner version? Working well? Thanks.

I have one and am using it in Linux. I don't think they sell them any more though.

That's the one. I've seen some used ones. Maybe I'll stick to the hdhr3.

From the looks of it, the 6 tuner version is simply two complete 3 tuners in the same box. But you need 2 cable cards, two network plugs, 2 USB tuner resolvers, etc, etc, etc - one set for each of the 3 tuners. Therefore I cannot imagine there is any difference between running it and the three tuner products.

Using CQC to control it all

For me it was rack mount. You need 2 cards, 2 network, 1 power. Not sure where USB comes in, but it is not required.

Some service providers will requires a tuning adapter box that is plugged in via a USB cord. I know I had to use one when I set my parent's SageTV system up with a cable card tuner (Charter Cable).
