Windows XP 2TB Drive Support

I went on vacation and the combination of a dead fan in my sage box and turning the AC up to 84 degrees in the house resulted in one of my 1.5TB Seagate drives failing. My Sage server is running 32 bit version of Windows XP. I did some googling and see that 2TB drives seem to be supported. Before I go out and buy a couple of them I'd like to get some reassurance that Windows XP will indeed play nice. Feedback?

From what I understand you can use a 2TB drive in XP as a data drive. Just not as the system drive.

Thank you all. Looks like I will be ordering two.

Note to self - Check cooling fans more often! I knew something was up as soon as my usually rock-solid Sage server started behaving oddly.

Might want to consider using something like HD Sentinel so your drives are always monitored for heat and pending failure. If there's a spike in drive temp or a drive is going downhill, you can be notified by email.

Cool, I will look into it. The downside of having a rock solid system is that after a while you take it for granted. The same can be said for relationships, but that's another matter altogether
