USB Hard Drive Support

Does SME support USB HardDrive that contains all the ripped DVD's, home made HD, avi, divx to play via USB 2?

If Yes, SME saves the library information everytime when i switch off and switch on the power?

I have 4TB of movies and trying to hook this up. Any feedback is appreciated. In anycase, i am already in and excited

If you are talking about the STX-HD100, I'm pretty sure I read in these forums that the front USB ports are currently disabled.

SME=Sage Media Extender?
If this is what you mean then, No. The USB ports on the front of the HD100 are currently disabled.

Just plug that drive into your server and import them into your "videos"

Can it be turned with the future firmware upgrades or is it not possible because of the hardware inability?

There is a FAQ that contains all the info there is to give about the USB ports. If there were any more info about it, it would be there.
