Task Switcher

So, with release 1.0201, there is a new options menu called 'Task Switcher Settings':

In there, are options to configure the new/improved Task Switcher (think of it as Alt-Tab for sage):

It is brought up and cycled through items via the Skip Fwd/Back 2 commands - |<< and >>|. By default, it will show all flows that are configured on the system. But that can be changed via the options screen:

All Flows - as it sounds, includes all configured flows
Menu Items - includes any menu items that are configured as Task Switcher items in the Menu Manager:https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8593871/Sag...anager%204.jpg

There are also now options for menu items to customize the icon used for the Task Switcher. We have some default icons included, and more will come, but in the mean time, they can be customized for each menu item. In the future, we hope to be able to use this setting for an Icon based main menu style - but that would be a ways off as it's not really even started yet. For now, it's use is limited to just the Task Switcher.

As you can see, each menu item shows the icon that would be used, and the TS flag to the right of the menu item indicates items that are flagged as 'Use In TaskSwticher'. (Another improvement is that the number of rows shown in the menu manager is adjustable, making it a bit easier to manage).

So, by turning off All Flows, and turning on Menu Items in the Task Switcher Settings, you can completely customize the switcher to your needs:

We've already got some ideas for future improvements on this feature:
- Adjust the sizing/number of icons shown in the switcher (it's currently fixed at 5 on screen at a time)
- Include more default icons with the basic gemstone package
