Gives me time to try to get my remote programmed, settings tweaked, etc. I'm starting to make stupid mistakes trying to get my first Sage system up and running.

The error 8 issue is not fixed in the release just posted a week ago and we really haven't had time to look into it.

FYI - This issue has been in every version of Diamond and every version of Gemstone (AKA Diamond 4.X) to date. It was sort of forgotten as there have only been a half dozen or so reports of it as most people don't watch a lot of live TV during heavy recording times where all tuners are being utilized, where the error would normally surface with a channel change.

Where did you purchase the HD300's and for how much?

I got mine on eBay and they ranged from $300 used to $400 new.
