Next Release?

When is the next beta or release. I think we all are about due for fixes or what not. This current version scares me sometimes just clicking on a button.

I guess that discussion has been a little hidden... Hopefully, it will be out next week. But, with betas, there is never a guarantee about that.

As with previous betas, it'll be here when it's here. I don't think they've ever given a specific date (too easy to be delayed, and then people get upset).

Yes I too am desperately awaiting a new release, I fear that my latest install is just getting too stale and its starting to show its age again.

the main reason I'd like to see one is because I get soooo bored at weekends and need something to do.

I could tile the bathroom or the kitchen..... nah!

My current sage box works a treat, theres just nothing worth watching on UK tv

Maybe that smile was for a NEW AND BETTER REPLACEMENT for the MVP .

I sure hope so (while the MVP's work fine, a HD box would be really nice ...

Well, he specifically said not to get rid of the old one.. which would imply some type of modification to the original.. which is great! While a new model would be great, I think we have all already sunk plenty into existing hardware and software!

HD over the mvp would be great!!! I really don't want to go down the path to having a PC at each TV...

If they don't tell us what this beta has in it soon we will all build up the hype so much that everybody will no doubt be disappointed!

As has been evidenced here before, mind games and guilt don't work on the SageTV guys... They're robots, who have complex teasing-circuits (which are in full effect).

I think it's actually based on whom-ever has the strongest will. Hopefully that'll work out for the best...

a new upcomming version? as if you can improve on perfection
ok enough with the butt kissing...

I hope the MCE blaster would be supported this time around... alot of ppl have it... would be cool to have it integrated.
also hope recording can easily be controlled like a VCR... don't get me wrong the PVR recording is great.. but sometimes a simple record implies being able to record a clip without having to save the whole programming timeslot..
