No Default Backgrounds?

So, this is probably one of those stupid question but here goes anyway:

When I install Gemstone for the first time, should I be seeing any default backgrounds (other than gradient gray) on the first/main screen? Or am I expected to add custom backgrounds myself?

I have a package of backgrounds that I will be posting but for now it's add your own backgrounds using the Menu Manager. You can assign whatever images you want to each menu item from there, no more copying over images to the folders or editing the theme.properties files etc... all through the UI.

Not sure on the timeline to release my package of "gathered and may get me incarcerated" backgrounds, when I get around to it.

That'd be cool to see some themes packaged. I was fiddling with the Gemstone UI for this and it took a bit of headscratching to get some basic background set. I wonder if I've really utilized it to it's potential :X

Just got busy with holidays, family and work. I have a few Gemstone things on the go and it seems like less and less time these days to work on it. Hopefully I'll have something in the next big release.

I got a nice group of backgrounds that were already on my PC that were installed with the Aeon Nox skin for xbmc. These images were already on my PC so I figured I may aswell use them.

You can also get them here. I would post a couple screenshots but I don't know how to do that from my HD300.
