Moving Fanart directory
I followed the directions for moving my Fanart directory and it seems to be working fine - I'm seeing the vast majority of my TV Fanart being placed here. However I still see some Fanart being placed in the original default directory. I keep deleting it, but a day or two later there will be some more there, for stuff I've recently manually added to my import folder and for stuff recorded by SageTV. Why is it not ALL going to the new location?

I watched a YouTube video on how to do this. I just manually moved the directory, then immediately went into the BMT web interface and updated the location there. I did this before actually adding new media, so there was very little in the original directory - just recorded TV show stuff. After doing this I started renaming my imported media files to a standard convention and, like I say, the vast majority of the scraped metadata went to the new location. But some is still going to the old one.
I have no other scrapers installed on this clean install of SageTV v7. I have a couple utility plugins such as Comskip and ADM, but nothing to do with metadata. This was happening before I installed Gemstone yesterday. Thanks, RLW |

Have you looked at the fanart location setting in each client to ensure none of them are overriding and using the old location?

I have two SageTV HD200 extenders, one is running with no customizations and I've never installed any addins from this interface. The other is on the TV I normally use, but I normally install plugins from the client on the SageTV server. I can't say for absolute certainty that I installed BMT this way, but I think I did. Is this a possible source for the issue? Where do I look? RLW |

So, just to close the loop on this thread... For a variety of reasons, nothing to do with BMT, I decided to do a clean install of SageTV v7. I then re-installed BMT and immediately set the desired fanart path from BMT's web interface. To date, it has not put anything in the old default directory. Not sure what the issue was before, but it's not doing it now.
