Screen goes black when HRHomeRun records a differnt channel(2 year old install)

I have Sage install that has been running really good for at least two years.

I have a HDHomeRun (2 tuner to roof antenna)
HDPVR - (1 connected to Directv Box

Recently I am finding issues where my wife is watching the morning news (on local NBC via HDHomeRun using roof antenna) and Curious George recording starts(Channel 13 NY via HDHomeRun using roof antenna). At the same time that recording starts the live channel I am watching goes blank.

Has anyone seens this before. Like I said above I have had a good stable install of Sage for a few years. I use acronis true image backup so I decided to roll things back to 11/1/2012 and then 10/1/2012 and the problem is still replicatible.

Does this sound like my HDHomeRun is going bad? Tonight I plan to try and connect to two streams of HDHomeRun connect using the HDHomeRun application rarther then sage. Anyone have any other testing recommendations?
