New HD PVR no workie
So I am adding a third PVR to my system. I have confirmed the directv box works (only via HDMI have I tested) and that the HTTP tunning is functioning properly for that box. The problem I have now is that the HD PVR which is recognized and all doesn't seem to go RED on the led in front and record....
Not sure what could be the issue. I am a little nervous it is hardware or an issue with the drivers. I should note the original HD PVRs run flawlessly and I think I am using some dated drivers if that matters. Anyway any thoughts or ideas please let me know. Thanks, Neil |

You could try hooking up the new STB to a different HD-PVR to see if that works. You could also try the Hauppage software and select through the different HD-PVRs that you have to see if they work in hauppage's software (I had 2 HD-PVRs and tested this way).
It's also possible that 3 tuners needs a newer driver, but I don't know much more than that. |
