Girder and 2.1.10 no workie..
I have the Sage ver. 2.1.10 and using Sage MC from mlbdude.
I went thru and changes the Name = SageWin ClassName = sage.SpecialWindow executable = SageTV.exe None of my remote buttons work in Sage. I open girder and press the buttons and I can see it performing the right commands, but they aren't controlling Sage. I don't know what else it could be. Doe ssomeone have a SAGE2.1.gml? I am using the firefly remote. Thanks

the target ClassName of the SendMessage should be SageApp with matchInvisibleWindows enabled
Click the Find button to check that Girder can find this window class |

Also... for future reference, check the manual in the SageTV Commands section -- it lists all the info for what the window & class names are for using SendMessage style control of SageTV, incuding the message number and event codes for all the commands. Note that the client uses a different target name.

Some of the other forums hinted at sage.SpecialWindow. as the classname.
I tried SageApp as the classname like you suggested and pressed find and it found it (SageApp) only for pause. If I try to find it under play or home it's not there. Says "not Found" In the Running Tasks (upper box) i see sage running as
So I don't know wtf is going on. I am ready to throw this mother out the window...I get everything to work and something else breaks...

Just for context:
The Sage top-level window has classname Sage.SpecialWindow, and can be used in Girder with WindowHasFocus actions to see if Sage has focus so that a remote button can do different things depending on which app has focus (the ATI RW plugin also does this, which is why it had problems!) The target for SendMessages must be the Invisible window with classname SageApp -- otherwise the message will be lost. And, top Girder tip from Stanger89 (IIRC): right click a group and select Set Group Target to update all children with a new target
