Client Playback problem of Colossus recordings

Hi,
I'm having a problem that confuses me. This involves playback of Colossus recordings from a Dish 211. Live TV plays perfectly fine, but when I try to playback a saved recording I get either a "problem rendering audio" or "problem rendering video" error. As I understand it, live TV is just playback of recordings as they are being made, so shouldn't the recordings play the same as live TV?
They all play fine on the server of course.
Client is a Vista machine using Shark 007 codecs set up as described in some thread I read from this forum a few months back. I have no problems with any OTA recordings using HD Home Run.
The Colossus is using component + Analog audio input as SPDIF audio resulted in sync issues.
Any suggestions?

Bob

I would say to use the built in decoders that windows has, but you are using Vista. Codec packs are generally a bad idea. There are usually multiple decoders for each codec used and sometimes that can cause issues depending on how the codec pack configures everything. I have multiple decoders, but they are set at different merits so they don't try to overpower each other, or use multiple video decoders.

Having said all that, what decoder do you have chosen in sage for h.264? What audio decoder do you have chosen?
