UIRT Prepending two commands try 2...

Good day,

I'm using a multi-zone UIRT

I want to send the wake up sequence (menu then esc) before each channel change.
Sagetv has the ability to prepend 1 command to a channel change, but not 2.

I tried concatenating the two commands into one new command by editing the text file that contains the names and command data, but there's no delay between them so it doesn't work (box doesn't see exit).

Is there a way i can modify something in either the command file or in the UIRT so i can have a single command result in sending two unique commands?

So, ideally, i'd like to make a command, menuexit, which is menu, followed by a small pause, followed by exit.

Any ideas?
