Sage v6 Won't Even Open

I'm at the end of my rope. I restarted my sage server a few days ago and now sage will not open at all. The service control won't open either. I tried uninstall/reinstall but that didn't work. I downloaded v7 trial and that did start but it tells me that I have a v6 license and then turns off. I would appreciate any help from you guys. Thanks.

Thanks. That free upgrade is awesome. But I guess I had bigger problems than I thought. Now v7 won't open either. Nothing in task manager. It's as if I didn't even click the program to open it.

You need to uninstall and also delete the sage folder, then reinstall . By installing over the old sage you still have old problems. You might be able to get it going by deleting the Sage.properties and the Wiz.bin and Wiz.bak. They will get rebuilt on the next startup of sage.

Turns out there was a problem with Java. I think when I restarted the server the other day it was because the windows updates were stuck. Java I think was in the middle of updating as well. I removed it and installed it again and now it works fine. At least I got version 7 out of this. Thanks rnadeau.
