Lm Gestion loses IR.exe

I am having trouble with LM Remote Keymap not working.

I have it installed and configured to use the Hauppauge MCE Remote, with an HVR-1250 card and the IR sensor that plugs into the mini-jack.

If I have Ir.exe running and LM Gestion, I can see LM Gestion flashing RED (getting a signal), but obviously it does not do anything in Sage since IR.exe is supposed to be closed. If I close IR.exe, then I get no blinking light.

I can seem to get it to work properly somehow when I "randomly" enable and disable IR.exe and LM Remote keymap in odd orders. But I have to do this everytime I restart, which is not acceptable.

With my HVR-2250 on another computer, I did not have this problem.

Any ideas on why it seems like it cant find IR.exe sometimes?

I use it but it has been a while since I set it up so my memory may not be great. I recall that you need to remove the Hauppauge IR programs. I don't think LM Remote works with the Hauppauge blaster. LM Remote is a standalone program that doesn't need the Hauppauge stuff and only works with specific blasters. I use an old MCE remote receiver and blasters I had to control the 2 STB's attached to my Colossus cards. You need to create/learn your remote codes in LM remote. Then you have to tell Sage to use the IR file you created instead of the stub file that Sage defaults to. I seem to remember having to add them in the encoder section of the Sage.properties file also.

I may be wrong about parts of this but that's what I recall...

I needed more than 1 blaster which I recall is why I did not use the Hauppauge blaster.

Somewhere there are directions for doing this on this forum. Or maybe at the LM Gestion site. I found them once, I will look again.

Here it is... And it looks like there are no sage.properties changes. I still don't think it will work with the Hauppauge blaster. I only see the MCE and USBUIRT blasters listed.
