Trying to add a new hdpvr

Im trying to add a new hdpvr to my system but sagetv dpesnt see it. There are no hardware conflicts and i can cycle through both with TME. Only sagetv cannot see the new hardware. Is there some way i can manually add it to properties file.

Have you re-run the driver setup with a recent driver version? The new one (or old one) may not have the same firmware so you may need to get them to the same revision etc... for the drivers to work on both. Not sure I said that right but you get the idea

I think I had to do this to get the second/third/fourth HDPVRs to show each time I added one.

Ok ill try that when i get home. I assumed that since they both work and both have the same drivers that it would work. I it doesn't does anyone know what steps to take to get the the hdpvr installed manually i intend to reinstall everything soon but for now I just need to get this second, and hopefully soon a third, one running.

I know the hardware setup proggy updates the firmware but does it stay at that firmware revision if I rollback to a previous driver because I was messin with the beta drivers a while back but reverted to 1.5.7.0. Does this mean that Im running a newer firmware pr does that flash along with the driver.

Check mmc/ignore in the .properties files and see if Sage blacklisted the second tuner for some reason.
