Angry Scrambled UI with SageTV 7 and HD 200/300s

Hope everyone is doing well. Long time lurker, first time poster here. ;-)

Have a machine that was originally setup with SageTV 6.6x under XP w/SP3 x32 and several HD 200/300's (lastest posted firmware) throughout the house and was rock solid. Decided to upgrade the same machine to the Ceton card, SageDCT, SageTV v7.1.x, and Windows 7 Ult x64. Since the upgrade, I've had nothing but trouble with the menu UI and functionality through the HD 200/300 boxes (scrambled or missing menus, spinning wheel, button pushes on the remote that do nothing or something completely out of left field, etc). However, turning the HD 200/300 off and then back on will resolve the issue until the problem occurs again.

Haven't been able to find any postings anywhere with the same symptoms here or Googling so I figured IU'd post something. The closest I've found were in http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57075 but that was with Phoenix/Diamond, not the stock/default setup (I've tried using a fresh clean stock stv from a test install on another machine but no luck). Ive also deleted the client properties files with no luck. And yes, the services were stopped/restarted along with machine reboots.

Machine is a 3Ghz Core2 with 8GB ram, gigE, plenty of speedy disk space (seperate 7200 rpm boot and sage recording drives), under Win7 x64 SP1.

Anyone have a trick up their sleeve I could try? Thanks in advance!

V7 requires a firmware update on the extenders. If you haven't updated them to the current beta firmware, you should do so.

Updated HD300 firmware did not do the trick :-(

Yup -- grabbed the beta firmware update for the HD300 (through the 2382 code under System Update in stand alone mode) but no luck (deleted the old client properties file, restarted the Sage server, power cycled the extender).
