blasters for 2xSTB and 1xReceiver?
I have had everything up and running with one STB and one stereo receiver, each getting blasted from an MCE remote/blaster using LM Gestion.
Now I want to add a 2nd STB and I'm pulling some hair out... I have an HVR-2250, which includes an "mce" receiver and 2xblaster leads. So now, available to me are 2 MCE blaster leads and 2 Hauppauge leads. How do I best set this up? My IR receiver, ideally, will remain the MCE receiver as it has the longer USB cable for placement. I don't really care which blaster controls what, as long as I can expect reliable tuning. One caveat is I don't think that I can use the Hauppauge blasters to control the stereo receiver (currently doing so by repeating IR Codes received by the MCE receiver through LM Gestion). Also, it seems that my 2 motorola STBs use the same IR Codes as codes blasted to one trigger actions on the other as well. Is there a way to change that, or do I just have to separate them physically?
