Dolby Digital 5.1 from OTA and OTA Recordings but not from Video Library
I asked this before and tried the suggestions but I am still unable to get Dolby Digital 5.1 from any of the video files on my HTPC (they are a mix of MKV's, AVI's, Etc.). In addition I get 5.1 while playing DVD's. AC3 filter is in the systray during OTA, OTA Recordings and DVD playback.
Version - 6.5.9. Windows XP SP2, Asus Mobo with on board Realtek sound w/optical out. I have tried: extra_mplayer_args=-afm hwac3 - Lost sound all together. always_use_dshow_player=true - Lost the ability to play any video files. If I play said videos with VLC, and have SPDIF output enabled, I get 5.1 from my video files. Is there anything else I can try to get Sage to use AC3 filter during video playback?
