Can I remap channels outside the current EPG range?

OK, so I switched to IPTV to get rid of the %^$#$ cable company, but there is no guide data. So I'm wondering if I can remap the channels in an existing guide to the IPTV channels? These are four digits BTW, where the other guide I was using is only three digits? I assume I can't?

Go into the sage.properties file and change the value on the line:

ui/channel/max_digits=

Thanks,

I just went through the manual mapping process which was bad enough, but Sponge Bob was on the preview channel for an hour.

Only one source is working for now, but I'm sure that's a minor issue. Does this remapping get saved as text so I can edit it manually?

The sage.properties file is a text file. The server must be shut down before you edit it or the file will be overwritten when you exit the server and you will lose the changes.
