Question Faster way to remap channels?

I was wondering if the channel remapping information is stored where it can easily be edited. I made a quick Perl script to show me how the channels need to be remapped. Now I would like to avoid having to manually remap some 50 channels.

Yes and no. There's a property called lineup_overrides that stores the channel mapping information. The problem is that the keys for the channels are internal IDs that Sage uses which you don't really have any good way of figuring out. Unless you want to reverse the channel_lineups list which gives the default station ID to channel number.

Thanks, it may have taken more time than just doing it manually, but a little extra work on my Perl script and I had all the channels remapped automatically for me. This was helpful because when remapping channels in SageTV, the channels immediately move to the new channel number after being remapped. So for instance, even though I knew I wanted to remap channel 8 to channel 9, I now had 2 channel 8's and would have to figure out which channel 8 I actually wanted to remap.
