EPG missing some data for some channels

After 10/5 fix EPG updated past the 12th to the 16th. But now 2 days later I'm still showing nothing past 10/16 ??

Just noticed this is happening again on my system.

Starting on Tuesday October 18th at 5:00pm (pacific time), I'm getting dozens of channels with "No Data". However, 24 hours later (Wednesday) all of the channels are showing data again.

Different channels than last time as well (none of my HD channels are missing data, just my SD channels).

Anyone else seeing this on October 18th?

I haven't tried erasing the two lines in the properties file again, but I will if it gets closer to the 18th and the data still hasn't filled in the gaps.

17th, 18th, and 20th here... not all of the channels... but all the effected channels are on my cable lineup... my ota lineup is fine. Also haven't tried deleting the property items, but will as it gets closer...

I got restless and decided to delete the lines again in the Sage.properties file. All data is back again.

3 EPG issues in just a few weeks (2 with gaps of data missing, and 1 with all data ceasing to update past a certain point), I hope this doesn't continue.

This. From 17th 5:00p to 19th 5:00p -- vast majority of time slots/channels are "no data". I've deleted the lines in the properties file, forced an EPG update and nearly an hour later, no change to the lack of data as far as I tell.

I'll wait until tomorrow even for things to update but if not, I'll email support.

Same issue here. "No data" from midway though the 17th until the 20th. Deleted the lines and forced an update. The guide is now populated.

deleted the property lines and now my epg is fully populated again...

My guide is fixed now too -- though it took awhile (I finally had to stop looking at it, I think watched pot and all that )

We are aware of this & it is probably related to one or the other of the recent EPG server issues. It can be resolved by clearing the two properties listed in the first post of this thread, as several people have already noted.

if my guide data is complete until the 21st, evening, is that correct or incorrect?

A few days ago sage stopped updating my epg information for nbc, abc, and fox (both digital & standard). What is interesting is that it does have epg information for all my other channels. Anybody else having this problem?

My setup:

3 pvr's recording digital channels over the air.
2 pvr's recording standard channels via cable.

I am located near L.A.

I tried refreshing my epg information by removing and re-adding channels, but it's not working. Any ideas?

i understand we can manually fix this but is this expected to happen again or has the problem been fixed?

I had noticed the lack of data ("No Data") for an apparently random collection of channels and times on 10/17-18/11 a week ago but assumed that an EPG update (still happening nightly per the logs) would take care of this. On 10/16 when it hadn't happened, I set up a few Manuals just in case but then found this post matching what I was seeing. I followed the instructions in the first post (shut down Sage service; remove all the lines from the "Sage.properties" file that have the string 'server_update_id' or 'expanded_until', restart Sage service) and after a few minutes the Program Guide and expected pending recordings for those dates looked normal.

It's interesting to realize how dependent I've become on Sage and especially the EPG guide to find and record shows. As I started to set up the Manuals I had no idea which shows were on Mon & Tues night (times, channels, new or repeats). Some were regular shows but a couple were one-time recordings that I didn't even remember setting up. I hope this isn't a preview of next year if & when Sage EPG data updates stop working.

I'm also concerned about how silently and permanently Sage stopped working on the two nights even though it was apparently (again?) receiving valid EPG data. I don't babysit the program and would have hoped & expected it to auto-correct and update given valid EPG data rather than just continuing to wrongly assert that there's "No Data." The recommended "fix" of manually editing cryptic lines in a key Sage config file (Sage.properties) seems like a pretty awkward and risky undertaking for many users.

I just went into my sagetv placeshifter client and found nothing past 7:30pm tonight except for QVC. All other channels are "No Data". I have tried the usual to force a reload but nothing has helped anyone else out there have any problems today?

Similar for me, it is mostly no data starting at 7:30 until 8pm weds, then it looks ok from there on.
