Media Center product - can I turn on the server?

I have one key of the SageTV Media Center V6 that I have been running for a couple of years now. It appears that I can upgrade to V7 for free due to the Google purchase.

I am considering picking up one of the HD300's on ebay (they look really expensive!). I believe the HD300 does not need a client license - correct?

As well, with the key I have, can it become the server? Or do I need a server key as well? (in the settings it appears I can just turn on the server functionality but I dont know if it will want a better key)

You need to replace both executables in this post in order to use your Sage 6 Keys, then your server will also be ok. You just enter the key once and replace the executables or replace the executables then enter the key.

Thanks - the reason I asked this question was that when I purchased SageTV a couple of years ago, I thought you could buy the Media Center or the server (they were two separate products).

Just another sign old age is catching up to me ...
