Sage Plays 5.1 audio over HDMI to TV Stero Speekers

I am having a weird problem with my latest Client Installation, Sage runs fine but when I am watching a DVD, the audio from the TV is missing the dialog. It is treating the TV as the center Speaker for the 5.1 surround sound. I am running XP SP3 and have updated to the latest drivers.
Sage client Version V7.023.246
SageMC STV Version 7.0.10

In an unrelated issue, all of my sage systems have delays when accessing the video/DVD library, when I am scrolling up or down the list the system will freeze and show the revolving circle, Both client machines and the server are doing the same thing. My media library is located on a File server connected to the Sage Server with gigabit Ethernet. So I don’t think it is a network slowdown.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you disable the hdmi audio on the video card. That may be the issue. I am making the assumption you are using a receiver/amplifier.I don't think you can do 5.1 on 2 channel stereo. Change the egregious sound output to s stereo source.

I am using the HDIM output on the video card to drive the TV (Both Audio and Video) I tried to disable all other drvers but that did not work. any other sugestions?

I figured it out, It was a codec issue, updated mycodecs and the problem was fixed.

If you still remember what you did, do you mind telling me the details of your codecs updating, please?
