HD 300 beta firmware

Should I update to the latest HD 300 beta firmware? Or just leave well enough alone? Is there any reason or advantage to install the beta firmware?

I believe the answer is yes if you are running a beta version of sage (7.1.9RC) -
There should be threads for each extender telling you what the improvements are, I know there is one for the HD100 anyway.

I also am pretty confident that you can try it out and roll back to the non-beta firmware if you want ... at least I could with the HD100.

The Beta firmware caused major stuttering problems with HD audio from my hd300. Reverting to the old firmware solved the issue.
