Beta Firmware?

I've seen many posts with people using the "latest beta firmware" on the HD Extender. Umm.. can anyone elaborate on how the rest of us can get a hold of this super secret beta firmware?

Sure -- if you want to work on an issue with support, then submit a tech support request. In the meantime, there isn't a new firmware version that is ready for general release, or even general beta release.

I was told "by tech support" that a new firmware was coming out right after CES, I guess this is not true then?

its not a question of not true.

I rather wait and get a firmware that works then to take the M$ Vista approach and release and then listen to all the people bitching

This is still after CES. But, there is no defined date when it will be out.

I've been thinking of updating my sig lines... be right back.

OK, done.

This is true, next year could be after CES to but I aint gonna wait that long.

I assumed they meant "soon" after CES.

I guess I just have to be patient.

Next time I order something from Sage perhaps I will pay them some time after CES
