Beta Firmware
I have seen several posts that describe how to download and install beta firmware.
Should we be running the beta firmware or the standard firmware? Is the process documented anywhere other than in this forum? Is there anywhere that documents the difference between the beta and normal firmware?

At the moment, there is no beta firmware for the STP-HD200. The last beta firmware version #20081230 0 is now the release version.
There are sticky topics at the top of the Media Extender section of the forum that you can subscribe to (not post to) in order to receive email notifications of firmware updates & where the changes are listed. - Andy
