How to set the input source order?

Hello, I'm a long time Sage user, but I have never had the need to post anything. Sage just works or I can usually find the answer here, but not this time.

I have a HD PVR connected to a DirecTv box tuned via serial cable. More recently I added a Hauppauge 2250 tuner card for OTA HD TV. Each input source works great. DirecTv offers the same local channels as the 2250, so when I tune in a local channel the HD PVR is selected as the input source first. I would like change the selection priority so the 2250 is used first, that way, if the HD PVR is set to record something (HBO show), it's available.

Basically, I have a house guest that watches local TV channels and sometimes forgets to turn off the HD 300. Now I can't record anything because the HD PVR is in use.

Any suggestions on how to set the input source priority?

Search the forum for encoder_merit. You'll have to adjust that in the properties file manually. Higher number = more preferred IIR...
