Does anyone know if you can use the composite input source on a PVR-150, PVR-250, etc. with a convertor box and use it as a second tuner?
In other words, would you be able to record 2 shows at once using both the antenna/cable input and RCA input at the same time? Thanks |

You can use multiple inputs, as long as the channels don't overlap, but you can only record 1 thing at a time because those cards only have 1 encoder. You would need a dual tuner card to record 2 shows at the same time.

Maybe I misunderstood your reply, but how do you tell Sage that channel A uses the cable tuner and channel B uses the composite input? I thought that the input was defined on a per-tuner basis? Thanks, --John |

Setup video sources. All your tuners are there whether you defined them already ready or not. Pick it again and define it as composite.
