Placeshifter crazy font problem

Hello. I'm running the latest betas of server and placeshifter and when using the placeshifter over the internet I get the crazy font problem. When using the same placeshifter over my LAN everything is ok.

Sometimes the fonts start out ok until I mouseover them. But that's not always the case. Sometimes the font stays ok no matter what. (see Curious George in pic)

Mouse clicks work ok and video streaming is OK.

That looks like a bug from before that we've since fixed..but maybe there's still some bad cached data around. Double check to make sure you are running the latest version on both client & server. If you're still having the issue; you should be able to fix it by deleting the ~/.sagetv/imgcache folder on your placeshifter client computer ('~' means your user's home directory, probably C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\).

Thankyou for the quick response and suggestions. I followed your advice and there was no change.

I found a spare computer at work and installed the latest beta placeshifter and connected to my server and got the same result!

So I'm attaching screenshot of my server's system info page. If you need more info just let me know.

Have you done other manual modifications to your Sage.properties file that could cause you to be in some non-standard mode? There's possibly some combination of things in there you could change (although I can't think of what they'd be) that would cause an issue like this...and hopefully you remember what you've changed.

Just adding some guesses... Is Java up to date on the Placeshifter PC? And, was the same PC used locally & remotely, or were they different PCs? If different PCs, does the remote one have up to date graphics drivers? In the Placeshifter Servers Manager's Settings, see if disabling 3D acceleration does anything.

It is the same laptop. It works on my LAN but it has crazy fonts when I use it from work.

The client is a Dell Precision M4400 running Win 7 Ultimate x64 (6.1.7601)
4 GB RAM
Intel Core2 DuoT9400 @ 2.53GHz, 2535 Mhz
NVIDIA Quadro FX 770M (fw ver 8.16.11.8840)

The server is a Sony PCV-RS420 running Win XP (5.1.2600)
2 GB RAM
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2793 Mhz
RADEON 9200 SERIES

I've tried
Disabling the 5309 extras in System Info
Updating java to 1_6_25 on all machines.
Updating video drivers on all machines.
Deleting the imgcache folder on all machines.
Uninstalling all plugins from the sagetv server.

I took a look at the .properties files and I have no idea how to tell what is a default setting and what is an un-supported extra. This PC has been running sagetv in some form since early 2004.

Would it be possible to save the .properties files, install a default .properties file? If so, can somebody post that .properties file for me?
