Crazy problem with ATI 650HD and Clear QAM

I've been battling these ATI 650s for a week...trying to get them to work in SageTV. They work fine in VMC and BTV, but they both suck (IMO). After trying to leave Sage to one of those two, I realized how wonderful SageTV is.

I've gotten the cards to scan and pick up channels, but every time I quit SageTV and restart I get "No Signal" on all the channels. For some reason, the signal quality goes to about 15% in "Setup Video Sources." To get them to work again, I have to delete sage.properties and do a complete rescan of the channels and then everything works great...until I quite SageTv again.

I've done a lot of research and some people have tried "dshow_tv_type=QAM" which, for me actually produces an error that I need to reinstall SageTV. I've also tried changing "broadcast_standard=ATSC", but that didn't do any good either. Currently that setting is "QAM NET" and that's how I'm able to pick up channels.

To setup the lineup, I create a new source using my ATI card. I select Cable TV (which confuses me because it's actually antenna OTA), then I select Antenna and configure the EPG/lineup. After exiting SageTV, the lineup still exists, but I just get "No Signal".

Can someone please help?! After battling this for a week, I'm so excited that I still might be able to use sagetv.
