I buggered up my Diamond

So I had SOME recordings that just wouldn't display banner or poster art. I fiddled with it and fiddled with it. Finally I got it into my head that I needed to delete the cache and let it re-cache the art. I deleted all the files under C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\cache\DiamondImages and all the files under C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\userdata\Phoenix and then told BMT to re-fetch all the metadata for all content (vid imports and recordings).

I watched as the userdata\phoenix area repopulated with even more art than before (good). but the cache\diamondImages never repopulated and I have absolutely zero banners and posters in recordings (all my imported vids have art thouhg).

Can I kick off a re-cache somehow? Also it is of note that I unstalled Diamond then re-installed it in hopes of kicking off a re-cache.

You can't delete the folder manually you need to read the wiki promise the answer is there on how to recache.

I swear I have read through the WIKI.. but that was a while ago, when I first installed Diamond... don't recall the cache stuff... but I will search through again... I am sure you are right... Just wanted to say thanks for the help.... I am going to peruse the wiki now.

thanks guys... this issue is resolved thanks to the WIKI. I had read that paragraph but it makes sense now...
