Bug, database buggered or something I don't understand

Bug, database buggered or something I don't understand

If I do a category search for 'romance comedy' I get results.

If I try to create a Favorite and select 'New by Category' and then the same category (romance comedy) the category is added but with no upcoming showings.

Is this a bug, something buggered up in my install or something I just don't understand?

If it's not something I am missing, could someone try this to see if the behavior is the same?
