I believe the answer is yes. When you setup the 2250 it will give you a list of available inputs (composite, cable, svhs).

Yes, it does, had that set up on 1 tuner for a while. It assumes you are using an external tuner when you do that. (cable/sat box) You'll need a USB IR controller (forgot the name) for more than 1 IR tuner.
