Hauppauge 2250 Display video from rear socket

I have this running nicely on FreeView but can't get it working on video.

Has anyone else got one of these cards and managed to get video displaying in Sage?? All I want is to use it for my Sky box.

All I manage is a blue screen no matter what!

Card Details;

Thanks

Are you trying to "Display video from rear socket" ie s-video cable from rear socket to TV?

Or are you having trouble trying to display video on your PC screen that you have captured from the rear socket?

The s-Video port on the rear of the 2500 is an analog input and your source needs to be set up as analog s-Video. Also, is your audio connected from the audio out on the STB to the 1/8" jack on the 2500 rear?

The problem is using the rear S video/Composite on the rear of the card to play back on Sage.

The two digital tuners are working fine.

Thanks

Those ports are for capturing s-video and composite not for displaying. Your video card might have a tv out port.

If I'm not mistaken, the 2250 is an ATSC tuner card meant for the US market. So that rear S-Video/Composite input is probably expecting NTSC-format video, whereas your UK STB is probably outputting PAL-format video.

OK, I have it working but now need to see if I've lost the TV.

No idea what I'm doing with the USBUIRT trying several things but no control
