Hauppauge 2250 on Vista 64
Anyone have an ETA on a fix for Vista64? I just did a complete system upgrade into Vista64, with the Hauppauge 2250, one of the main reasons I upgraded was a faster performance in Sage(while I'm doing 5 other things on the PC, definately not the ADD Poster Child!)
As it's not working right now, and this is a fairly nice machine, I'm kinda pissed. Vista 64 Intel QX6850 Asus P5Q-Pro 8gb Ram |

A HVR-2250 problem
if you use a HVR-2250 to watch analog TV, you have to edit sage.properties to change
seeker/fast_mux_switch=false it will be fixed in the next release.

didn't help the problem I'm afraid. Also, the 2nd analog tuner seems to not work properly, keeps saying I need to download the latest drivers.
As this is a brand new, 3 day old build, I just downloaded all the latest drivers for the entire system. It's the first thing I do after getting a system running/windows installed is update all the drivers to the newest release. |

I haven't been able to get this card to work since the end of July when it came out. I've intalled
http://download.sage.tv/users/qian/6...howCapture.dll, http://download.sage.tv/users/qian/6.4.1/TSSplitter.ax and switched seeker/fast_mux_switch=false, but I still am unable to even add the second tuner. It crashes to the desktop and I get some java error message in the SageTV folder which I've attached. I'm using Vista HP x64 and I've tried JRE with update 6 and update 7 and get the same errors. Any input? EDIT: I found that I can add tuner #1 as an analog tuner and then re-add it as a digital tuner. Both show up under the "Set up video sources menu" but it will only work as the type of tuner it was last setup as. If I set it up as analog first then digital it will only tune a digital channel. If I set it up as analog last it will only tune analog. I thought this thing was suppose to tune both digital and analog per each tuner. Nevermind the fact I can't even setup tuner #2, doesn't this thing recognize what signal is coming in and tune it. Or does it only do one or the other? EDIT 2: I guess I found the answer to my own question. I guess you can't use both tuners at the same time for both Digital and NTSC. However I read about a clear qam plugin that sounds like it's suppose to make both digital and NTSC available at the same time on each tuner. http://www.shspvr.com/smf/index.php?topic=11509.0 Last edited by craigap; 09-13-2022 at 05:15 PM. |
