First off, is there a name for the 4 views present in the right box of the box landing zone? I struggle to describe it every time...

Those views persist regardless of cursor location, which I really do like. At the same time, what if they were context sensitive? Only sensitive to the major categories across the top of the box landing zone: TV, Videos, Music, Memories and Online.

The current four views:
1 - Recent Recordings
2 - Scheduled Recordings
3 - Current Recordings
4 - Recently Added

These are basically for TV and are always available regardless of where one is on the screen.

What I’m suggesting is say when a person navigates to the Videos section/category they would be presented with 4 different views for that specific category. They could look something along these lines:
1 - Partially Watched Movies - Movies started but never finished
2 - New Movies
3 - Top Watched Movies (favorites) - not sure this is possible from the sage core or not...
4 - Recorded Movies

Obviously, there could be other/better views. I thought I would just throw the idea out for thoughts and consideration and have some sort of tangible idea of how it could look/act. T

I'm not sure how other’s feel about them or if other/better ideas/views are floating around...

I call it the Instant Status area.

The plan was never for that area to be context sensitive - that's what the middle area (Featured) is for.

However, I do intend (actually I already have) made some improvements to the Box landing zone - there's an option now to edit what views show up in the Status area, what order they are in, and a couple of more views that you can put there (recently watched TV and recently watched movies).

Box was also quite inefficient and I've fixed that as well.

Can't wait to see the new box features. I love the view. So much information but easy to get to. I've been waiting for the recent watched status. I'm very glad you guys decided to put that together.

BTW, in regards to the instant status area... Where does one find the code for those 4 queries?
