HD-PVRs and HVR-2250 not working
So been awhile since I have had any issues with my sagetv setup.
Took my server off its shelf and disconnected everything. cleaned it out and installed a new 2TB HDD into it. After reconnecting everything, I have been unable to properly tune any channels on the HVR-2250, and the IR blaster no longer works for one of the HD-PVRs. Here is the setup: AMD Athlong X2 2GB PC6400 memory Windows XP Professional SageTV 7.0.23 HVR-2250 (tried all existing drivers) 2 x HD-PVR (tried all existing drivers and software) 1st HD-PVR works fine with USB-UIRT tuning. 2nd HD-PVR can capture video just fine, but the IR blaster does not work and will not tune channels. blastcfg says no blaster hardware found. HVR-2250 cannot find any local digital channels when scanned Please help.

And since last night I have discovered the possible reason the IR blaster stops working. I have used hcwclear and removed all wintv drivers/software. After using the CD to reinstall the HD-PVR drivers it works fine, until I install the drivers for the HVR-2250. That is when the IR blaster stops working. Why does it do this. It worked before I disconnected the computer, and then stopped working after I turned it back on? And why won't the 2250 tune any channels at all, when it worked fine before disconnecting it.

Hauppauge only supports one IR in a system. If you check your IR blaster is probably working off of one of the 2250.
