Fresh install

This last weekend I did a fresh install on a new hard drive. I installed Win7, Sage 7.15, and Collection Manager 3.19RC4. I forgot to save the CM database so after setting up Folder Monitoring it went and re-imported everything from scratch. The previous install had saved mymovie.xml files in each of the folders so it mostly went well except for the multi-disc stuff like TV series and such. In those cases I ended up with each disc being a seperate database entry instead of being grouped together properly.

My question is would you (meaning the reader not necessarily Plucky) recommend just going thru and correcting the current database or deleting it and getting the old one off the original hard drive? I'm not even sure that that can be done?
