BMT setting TV Rating to TVM

I had some missing metadata for a few shows (Diners, Drive Ins and Dives) and when I updated BMT placed TVM in the TV Rating.

I tried to delete and re-save but it keeps placing TVM in there.

I went to another show and deleted the rating and it defaults to TVM.

If I change to TVPG it will stay. Any time TV Rating is left blank it defaults to TVM.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

The idea here is that if you care about ratings then you'll want to use one of the sagetv rating for your tv shows. If rating cannot be determined then it essentially sets it to TVM to prevent someone without TVM access from viewing it.

You can change this behaviour by copying the file STVs/Phoenix/metadata/ratings.properties to the userdata/Phoenix/metadata/ directory (it may not exist), and then change the line,

# default TV Rating
default/TV=TVM

to whatever valid SageTV rating you want to use. You may need to restart sagetv for that change to take effect.

I have about 50 videos in one directory that I'd like to change from tvm to be or tvy. Is there an easy way to that? Or do I have to go into each video and set it by hand?

Right now, you'll have to do it manually per video.

I wanted to thank you for this change. It is so nice to not have to worry about the kids playing something they shouldn't because it had no rating associated.
