I see the rating icon is only on some of the views. Is it possible to add that in views it is not in now? Is that an option when you create a custom view?

No it is only visible in the views it is visible in. Where exactly are you using you don't see it and want it?

In the poster view, I'd like to see it with the description. I've fiddled around and got a view setup I like OK that has it.
