HD Switchover

I am currently updating my home from SD to HD tv.

What freeview HD tuners are people using with sage and would recommend?
I currently have a cynergy duel tuner and would really prefer a duel tuner to save space, it must be HD.

Also is everyone buying the HD3000 direct from Sage? There is no supplier in the uk for these?

Thanks

I believe this one works natively in Sage:
http://www.pctvsystems.com/Products/...B/Default.aspx

- see this post

and the only other one I've seen discussed is in the Blackgold thread but that's not natively supported yet.

Yes can only buy the HD300 direct from Sage.

That's right, the PCTV USB stick works. I've been using one for three months now without any problems. Only one tuner on that though.

I think starfire is right, the PCTV and the Blackgold are probably the only DVB-T2 tuners at the moment.

I mainly use DVB-S2 tuners for HD; there's more choice and there are dual tuners available but of course you can't get C4 in HD on Freesat.

Fingers crossed C4 HD will be coming to Freesat in April

I'd given up hope, but yes, I see you are right. That's good news.
