25% CPU usage when playing music?

25% CPU usage when playing music?

I have ~25% average CPU usage when playing music in SageTV on a dual-core client PC. As a way of comparision, playing the same mp3 file in Windows Media Player on the same PC only uses ~3% average. Is there a reason for the relatively high CPU usage in SageTV?
